Pipettes maximize the minimal: a light industrial material is transformed into a spatial object. The lamps are made from
12-foot pieces of electrical conduit. When bent, the tube becomes a three-dimensional figure. They shine from both ends and have several different stances.

Many thanks to Nate and Ed at i3 Detroit for their immense help working out the details of the LED. They wrote about us on their blog here.

See the lamps at 400 Sq. Feet Later: Cite Goes America between May 15th and June 11th in New York City. Opening Party: May 15th, 6-8:30 pm. RSVP to RSVP@CiteGoesAmerica.com.

They have also been shown at M+D+F at Design Within Reach (April 2009, Chicago) and The Promise of This Moment (June 2009, Chicago).
